Empowering Independent Travel
At Skillwise Disability Services, our NDIS Assist Travel and Transport service helps participants move through their community safely, confidently, and on time. We know that reliable transport is essential for independence, social connection, employment, education, and health.
This Core Support is for participants who cannot use public or private transport without assistance due to physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disability. Our trained support workers provide practical help and supervision so travel becomes easier and less stressful.
Support may include door-to-door transport, accompanied travel to appointments or activities, public transport training, route planning, and mobility assistance. We ensure participants feel secure whether attending medical visits, community programs, school, TAFE, or work.
Every journey is organised around the participant’s care plan, preferences, and schedule to maintain comfort, dignity, and reliability.
We work closely with families, support coordinators, and service providers to deliver punctual and consistent transport solutions. Our team follows safety procedures, vehicle standards, and NDIS guidelines at all times. With Skillwise, participants gain greater freedom to access the places that matter most in their daily lives.

Personalised pick-up and drop-off from your home to your destination. Vehicles are clean, air-conditioned, insured, and maintained to NDIS safety standards.
- Accompanied Travel
A support worker travels with you, assists with check-ins or waiting periods, and helps you return home safely.

We teach travel planning, timetable reading, safety awareness, and confidence using buses, trains, or ferries — promoting long-term independence.
